The Lord is blessing their efforts mightly in that around 100 people so far have committed their life to Jesus! Praise You Lord!

The guys bought the orphanage matresses, blankets and other needs. They also took dvd players and Christian adult and children dvds that they will leave with them. Before the guys left Issac and Emily had a wonderful opportunity. The government told the people of their area there was a 10 day widow if they paid them $500. usd they could have a power pole connected to their property. We sent them the money and yea, they now have electric!!!

Have been home from Africa many months, yet I think of this country and its people almost daily. My heart was captured and captivated by this land and its people, I have not been the same since my return. How do I put pen and paper together and do justice to this report, help Holy Spirit is my urgent request. My Father in heaven knows how much I love showing love to His children and I am always ready at a moments notice. Gary and I traveled together almost twelve days and then I went on six more myself. The last six days I did not see one white man and we used baby wipes twenty one days ,since conditions were so poor. I so loved this that I will pray to return often. Our trip was very eventful, we preached at least two times per day and were busy ministering early mornings too the host families and the many pastors and their wives. We baptized many the first day and visited some twenty families and prayed in their homes. We held a Holy Spirit explosion conference and two pastor conferences and ordained many pastors. I was privileged to minister at a women’s conference and to minister in te market place were no white pastor had ever done. We traveled up the mountain to Mt Elgin and and ministered to ten thousand refuges and two died the day were there. A site like this certainly touches the heart of the Father and we weep and the hand of the Father for provision comes forth. Has the heart of the Father captured you yet , my friend and ask Him to send you out to the market place.

Mutual Encouragement Hope Home

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

In the small town of Webuye in Kenya Africa, Isaac & Emily Mukweyi have taken James 1:27 to heart as all of us should do. They have opened up there home and hearts to the orphans in the local area. Isaac is humble servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and is part of the House Church network in Africa. As a pastor Isaac and his wife Emily have little means to support the growing need for the children as there numbers and need grow, it is there desire to fulfill the vision that God has lade upon them to build a orphanage and school at there home in Webuye.

After Roy’s last trip to Africa Roy and his wife Suzan have been lending a hand in the support to Isaac and Emily, both spritely and in means of provisions, but the true need is more the two humble servants of the Lord can provide. At this point we humbly turn to our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ to add to there blessing by helping with the Webuye orphanage… as God has a special place in his hart for the widows and orphans Deuteronomy 10:18 , Deuteronomy 14:29 [1,2]

Most of them were the people we had a deep connection to in our hearts and travelled together to share the life of Jesus together. But because of the tribal clashes during this crisis we have lost our brothers and sisters.

Mutual Encouragement Hope Home Organization was established in 2010 to contribute to the development of the less privileged from various parts of the Western Kenya in Africa. It is non-governmental non-profit child rehabilitation, development and care center. Many of our children came to us seeing shelter from the violence during the tribal clashes, and were soon found to be orphans. We are actively involved in developing young and less privileged children on non-governmental levels to address issues affecting the young.

On November 09 we were invited to the T. B. N. church in Orange County to give a report and a church service. Friday night after our trip, Bill and Bobby were invited to share our experiences of our trip on behind the scenes, T. B. N. Now that the dust has settled so to speak, I am digesting the events that affected so many lives in this disaster relief work.

Years ago I was always reading stories of missionaries and now I write our own stories because many of us answered the world wide call. Indonesia once again proved the assume sovrenty of the Father. As we were being pursued by the radical Moslem group, we were quick to see the Father blind them to our presence. Yes they threw rocks at us and they tried to pull my right arm out the passenger window. Brian and Rudy had to get out among the heavy rock throwing and throw the motor bikes out of the front of the van. They also had to deal with the men on the motor bikes and to help them off the road, catch my drift. Brian’s head received a heavy blow as he and Rudy ran as we were speeding down the road. All this time the pelting of the rocks was instance and the driver was freaking out as Bill strongly said get going, get going. As we speed down the road our prayers increased in intensity, you see we had a Muslim driver and two Muslim women and a baby as passengers.

As we were herring madly down the very rocky, washed out road and dodging pot holes large boulders, we also had another Muslim man with us who had wanted a ride and we realized that perhaps he had stirred up strife with the locals and perhaps the radical thugs harassing us .We were soon to bounce over some very large boulders being tossed from side to side, finally hitting a large boulder and radically all most going over the embankment. Our hearts were pounding, prayers increasing because we were aware that the oil pan on the van should have been punctured and leaking oil. About this time we were all in favor of lots of heavenly intervention. Yes about now would be a perfect time to release a miracle God. As our driver drove madly down the treacherous road conditions at our very verbal insistence, we encountered many obstacles, such as water buffalo, large logs and people in road. We were soon to realize the van must be running on Holy Spirit power, because we knew it was severely damaged, yet it was still running. Yes God! Getting pretty exciting don’t you think? Our adrenalin is certainly pumping now. And now what’s next Lord?

As we were quickly dodging all of these obstacles we kept looking out the rear window. Brian and I occupied the rear seat and had a better view and we were aware of the men who had remounted their motor bikes and had continued the chase. Soon we were to see their absence from our view. We realized that a miracle had taken place. God had blinded them of our presence. A miracle anyone? Yes this one is ours, thank you Father. We traveled some distance and praying that the van would hold out as we were approaching a hill. In the rear I saw a black cloud of smoke, Brian I said “this isn’t a diesel is it?” “No its not” he said. Well looked at that black stream of smoke. The engine was getting ready to blow, and as we topped the hill and started to roll down the other side the van gave up the ghost.

When the van stopped we again had an urgent request from Heaven. We had dodged a cow, washed out roads, trees in the road, the van bouncing wildly from side to side and flying through the air only to land on large rocks. Now we were running through the desert with backpacks on our backs asking for the use of a pickup truck. While running we looked back and we could see the oil spot on the roadway under the blown up van. Time for another miracle wouldn’t you say? We saw a group of people by a tarp and a small damaged house. “Wow! Is that a small pickup truck in your yard” I said? Reaching into our pocket we found many rubles. Through Donnie our interrupter we explained our desperate situation. Here take all our rubles and drive us quickly to town two hours away Donnie said. The man agreed and we all hustled to the small pickup truck. Bill was in front seat hurrying the driver on our flight to safety in the city of Padang, or so we thought. As we were piled in the pickup racing for town, all of a sudden we thought we had run into a tsunami know what I mean. The Heavens had broken loose like a deluge and we were quickly trying to cover our cameras and cell phones. We were singing and praising as much as Paul and Silos had, I am sure. We sensed God had allowed such to hide our pursuing enemy. Soon we were all to reach town, wet, drowned and cheering, because of Gods delivered us from present danger. Praise the Lord! We were to preach that evening in a local church and we were one and a half hours late. Later after our ministry we returned to our hotel to find secret police. We were placed under house arrest over night. We were tired and needing to dry out our clothes. We needed some sleep yet we kept a watch to see what our captors were doing. With morning we had our team meeting and prayer and communion time as a team. During our meeting we asked Holy Spirit our plans for escape.

We had our interrupter find us a van and we all escaped out of the hotel and regrouped in our plans in a restraint parking lot. We then had our driver scoot for the airport as we all watched carefully to make sure we were not followed. As we approached the airport we observed many police and detectives. We were soon to find they had warrants for our arrest. Busted know what I mean. We had given out two hundred bibles and seven hundred bible tracks and shared our testimonies. We shared the same in two unreached people groups. One group eighty five per cent Muslim the other one hundred per cent Muslim. In addition to sharing our testimonies we distributed clothing food water and diapers. We were soon to learn that the radical Muslim group had received some cell phone videos of our activities. As the day continued at the airport we were summoned into interrogation two by two. As each group was called by the officials the remaining ones were praying. Rudy pastor Steve pastor Donnie from Jacardia, were the main players here. The wisdom from Holy Spirit was consider your military training and give as little information as needed and this we did. In the military name rank and serial numbers were all that were given and this seemed appropriate here. No extra information don’t let the enemy divide the team, stay on the same page. The wisdom from Holy Spirit became clear, just give our testimony and that the team did over and over in reptesion. This was done as the hours wore on into the day over and over as if on a broken record. They were trying to break us down and cause division in our ranks; this didn’t work and eventually broke them down.

Remember the word of our testimony and the blood of Jesus is our most powerful weapon. The love of Jesus is so powerful and never fails. We were soon to be released to return to jakarda, yet not before the whole police group wanted their pictures taken with us. Figure this if you can? First we are fugitives now what, yes God came threw. We were allowed to go so as to preach yet another day. This we did, two more days in Jakarda in the pastor’s mission house.

Epilogue: Guess what my friends the Lord always has the last word and that He did here, now give Him praise. We were to learn later at home the enemy through the radical Muslim group would not leave this alone and they pushed the local law enforcers to expose these phone videos I the news papers and T.V. media. They had hoped to ruin our reputation discrediting our work with these testimonies and this back fired on them. Thank you Jesus!

Haiti After Action Report

It was January 20, 2010, when the unthinkable happened. In a country all ready known for its poverty and lack a 7.9 earthquake shook Port Au Prince in Haiti. The news explained that even though the quake had hit off the shore line, the area it hit caused the effects to be amplified causing the effects to be like that of a 9 point earthquake, in an area, that had never been prepared. Most of the houses were made from indigenous materials and the bricks were placed on top of one another with very little between them to hold them together. Many of the houses, were centuries old and were not even thought of to be built with earthquake proof standards .

The eight of us felt the need to go to this place, ravaged with death and destruction and bring the Good news of the Gospel and humanitarian aid. We left on March 22, 2010, and returned 17 days later.

The chaos in Port Au Prince was over whelming, The city was under martial law by the United Nations. The overall infrastructure of the city was devastated and was slowly rebuilding. There were tent cities everywhere inside and out the city limits. Tragically, there was no sanitation, water or electricity. Mass graves were sad reminders of the quake, and wisely they were on the out skirts of the cities.

We were housed in first part of our stay, at a safe house. Security was very needed and provided. We traveled from the first compound to orphanages and we worked many outreaches.

Voodoo activity in the country, went on incessantly. Thank God for our intercessors, back in the USA and in Haiti also.

We partnered with three different ministries and worked the outreachs by the Presidential palace where we ministered to hundreds.

Had very special ministry with other missionaries, coming and going from the compound. One evening had privilege of ministering with 2 missionaries from Minnesota, Kelly and Paul They were desperate to go further with the Holy Spirit so I Released and imparted they received!! What a glorious time. I asked them at breakfast what they had received the night before, the reply was, no sleep, holy laughter all night and Paul’s arm burned with fire of the Holy Spirit. Glory!!

Day number 8 about 1 o’clock in the morning we were startled awake with a bang , I mean a literal bang. I remember thinking there was another earthquake, however it proved to be gun fire echoing thru compound, there was a sense of evil lurking at all turns, this brought us to the realization we needed to pray in the Spirit now!!! Later, we were told three men tried to come over the walls, of the compound. One was shot and killed and they wounded the other two. We were also told that criminals were kidnapping missionaries holding them for ransom and killing anyone they encountered as they would steal, what ever they could get their hands on!

We moved to another compound on day number 9. This place was on the other side of the city and here we would minister until we left.

Each morning in Haiti, the team had prayer together, communion, and read the word out loud. This brought us unity and helped us make sure we were on target with our ministries. As I said before, the influence of voodoo was everywhere! We had to do much intercession to keep the charge! One night in particular, my roommate Larry and I were awake, all night, praying in intercession.
We preached at many churches and started three street churches. One of the churches we started in a place, where a woman had lost 5 of her children. The building had fallen on them, so in the rubble, we helped form a new church. We found two pieces of wood, a three penny nail and built a cross. We started preaching right there, till a crowd formed. The people in attendance agreed and the church was started! We visited an orphanage for disabled children. These children were severely physically handicapped. Their care givers, still diligently even with these new conditions, caring for them the best they could. We were privileged to work with Don Tipton Friendship ministries and Smile of a Child TBN ministries while in Haiti We were also privileged to train some of Don Tipton’s people in street evangelism on streets of Port au Prince.

After having considered 50 pages of journaling, it is hard to do justice, to all the events, of this trip, with such a limited space.

Thank you contributors and intercession prayer partners for making this trip possible and successful.

On The Street Of LA
